An annual car reliability study was conducted in the United Kingdom. Experts from the insurance company Warrantywise determined which cars break down most often and are the most expensive to repair. This was reported by Focus.
The study analyzed data on 200 car models up to 10 years old. The frequency of breakdowns and the cost of repairs were taken into account when compiling the ranking. Based on this, a car reliability index was calculated, and the 15 most problematic models were selected. It was found that premium cars are less reliable. Problems with automotive electronics are most often noted.
