Fine for Speeding May Increase to 4250 UAH en

A new bill has been registered in the Rada, which strengthens administrative liability for exceeding the allowed speed limit. It should be noted immediately that this concerns significant speeding violations and increased liability for creating an emergency situation by speeding.

For significant speeding, confiscation of the car is proposed | TopGir

To the existing fines (for exceeding the allowed speed by more than 20 km/h – 340 UAH, more than 50 km/h – 1700 UAH), are added:

  • for exceeding the speed by more than 80 km/h above the allowed limit – a fine of 3400 UAH;
  • for exceeding the speed by more than 110 km/h above the allowed limit – a fine of 4250 UAH;
  • for exceeding the speed by more than 50 km/h above the allowed limit, creating an emergency situation, a fine of 5100 UAH or deprivation of driver’s license for a year is threatened.

And although this is still a bill, it has already been registered, and there is a likelihood of its adoption, but most likely with amendments.
