The Russian car market continues to set new anti-sales records. In April, 27 thousand new cars were sold in the aggressor country, which is 2.9 times less than in the same period last year.
The result is the worst in the last 15 years. While in January and February 2022, an average of 20 thousand cars were sold weekly in Russia, and even in March, 15 thousand, in April, this figure fell to 6-7 thousand units.
And this is just the beginning: an even larger collapse is forecasted for May. Those who rushed to spend their savings on cars (while they are still available) have already bought themselves cars.
Now there are almost no cars in stock. Import has stopped, car factories (such as VAZ) are idle, and their workers are planting potatoes instead of assembling cars.
