In Kyiv, a Range Rover was towed to a penalty lot. The expensive SUV was confiscated due to multiple traffic violations by the owner and refusal to pay fines.

To be more precise, the owner accumulated as many as 147 fines amounting to 130 thousand hryvnias. Deputy Minister of Justice Andrey Gaychenko stated that this is a kind of record for Kyiv.

Moreover, the Range Rover was speeding in Kyiv at 167 km/h. The vehicle will be returned only after settling all fines, as well as costs for towing and storage at the penalty lot.

In Kyiv, seven cars have already been seized from persistent traffic violators unwilling to pay fines. Previously, vehicles were also seized from debtors in Kharkiv, with Dnipro and Odesa next in line. Across Ukraine, a total of 150 speed enthusiasts who evade paying fines have been counted.
