The roads will be patrolled by exceptional BMW 7s. The police were given plug-in hybrid BMW 745Le xDrive models. The inline six-cylinder 3-liter engine and electric motor together produce 394 hp.
The all-wheel-drive BMW 7 Series sedan not only accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, but it can also travel up to 54 km in full electric mode. The declared fuel consumption is 2.6 L/100 km. 
The new BMW 7 Series was leased to the police. For six months, they will monitor traffic law compliance and intimidate offenders with their huge grilles.
