A unique GAZ-69 with Nissan internals spotted in Europe

An unusual GAZ-69 is driving around the Latvian town of Malnava. The point is that the entire internals of the car are completely new. Photos of the SUV were published by the famous retro movement activist Sandris Misins. Craftsmen combined GAZ-69 and Nissan Terrano II

In fact, only the hood with the radiator grille, front fenders, and windshield remain from the GAZ-69. The rest of the body parts were made anew.

Most of the parts for the SUV were taken from the Nissan Terrano II. It became the donor for the chassis and engine, and its steering wheel, front panel, and seats were also borrowed. Craftsmen combined GAZ-69 and Nissan Terrano II

Interestingly, the hood is adorned not with a GAZ or Nissan logo, but with a figurine from an old Jaguar. Craftsmen combined GAZ-69 and Nissan Terrano II

By the way, this is by no means the first such modification. In Ukraine, the GAZ-69 was combined with a Toyota Land Cruiser 70, and it turned out even better than in Latvia.
