The new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe has been fully unveiled. The official premiere of the coupe-crossover is scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The 2020 Mercedes GLE Coupe crossover has grown to 4939 mm in length and 2010 mm in width. The roofline has become more sloped, and the taillights have been made more elegant. At the front, the car is not much different from the Mercedes GLE 2019.
Like all modern Mercedes models, the interior features a pair of 12.3-inch displays – a virtual instrument cluster and a multimedia touchscreen. The Mercedes crossover has become more spacious inside, and its trunk volume has increased to 655 liters in standard condition and 1790 liters with the rear seats folded.
The basic configuration of the Mercedes GLE Coupe includes an automatic braking system, and for an additional fee, semi-autonomous driving technology, active stabilizers, and air suspension are offered.
Initially, the standard Mercedes coupe-crossover will receive 3.0-liter turbo-sixes – a 362-horsepower gasoline engine and 272 and 330 hp turbodiesels. All versions are equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
A special place is held by the Mercedes-AMG GLE53 Coupe with a 3.0-liter 435-horsepower turbo engine and a 22 hp electric motor, capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. The charged version is recognizable by the huge radiator grille, body kit, and 20-inch wheels.
