Chinese developed an unarmored armored vehicle

Chinese Foton has introduced a very unusual SUV. It looks like an armored vehicle, although it is actually unarmored.

The SUV has massive flared fenders with rivets, a thick hood, and very small windows. However, not a gram of armor is in the design! By the way, the headlights are copied from the Ford F-150.

Of course, it is difficult for us to understand the creators’ idea of this wonder. Perhaps it is for buyers who want to feel like VIPs in an armored vehicle. Or want others to think they are.

The SUV is based on the Foton Tunland pickup’s frame platform. It is equipped with a 2.7 liter 175 hp turbo diesel and can reach 158 km/h.
