How to Protect Your Car’s Body from Scratches and More

Probably, most of us care about the appearance of our car. We all want to keep it intact and safe, but often this is very difficult, inevitably, paint chips from stones, bituminous spots, scratches from branches appear on the car.

This issue is especially acute when the car is used outside the city, or worse, in off-road conditions. To avoid this, there are several options:

  • cover the car with special protective polishes
  • wrap it with protective polyurethane film
  • paint it with U-POL Raptor protective coating

The first method will only protect against bituminous spots and a little from branches. With the help of the film, you can protect the paintwork from many external factors, but the main downside of this protection method is not only the price but also the short lifespan of this coating, as most films are destroyed over time by ultraviolet radiation.

A good alternative to all this is the enhanced strength protective coating U-POL Raptor. This method is especially suitable when there’s practically nothing left to protect). Raptor not only has high resistance to mechanical damage but also withstands chemical reagents well and does not fade in the sun. Among the advantages of this paint, one can highlight not only its unpretentiousness but also simpler application and surface preparation, compared to conventional car enamels.

Features of Raptor include a wide range of possible textures of the final coating, from smooth with a “glass” effect to bumpy “fur coat”.
