In Alushta, a very rare car was discovered – a Soviet limousine ZIS-110 from 1953. The car stood abandoned in the open air in a garden for about 60 years, reports Autocentre.
Surprisingly, the car is quite well preserved. Its paintwork is more or less intact, and there isn’t that much corrosion. Even the chrome bumpers, radiator grille, and moldings are in good condition.
Of course, the condition of the interior is more deplorable. The upholstery has faded and become moldy. However, interesting elements such as the partition between the driver and the front passengers have been preserved.
The mileage of the ZIS-110 is very low – 12 thousand km. The car has already been purchased and is apparently being prepared for restoration.
Let us remind you that the ZIS-110 was produced from 1945 to 1958 based on the Packard 180 and only 2072 cars were assembled. Its six-liter eight-cylinder engine produces 140 hp and allows reaching a speed of 140 km/h. The ZIS-110 was used by the Soviet party elite, and Stalin had an armored version and a convertible.
