About the unusual ZAZ tuning was told on the Youtube channel Jiguli Owner. The project is still in the implementation phase, but there are already interesting details. 
For example, the manual transmission is taken from Renault 25 – this is the very gearbox that was installed on British sports cars Lotus.
In the future, the Zaporozhets will also receive a Renault V6 engine, but for now, it is equipped with a VAZ engine with a silencer from Opel Corsa. 
In the interior, the steering wheel and seats have been replaced, although it is clear that this ZAZ-968 still needs considerable investment and effort. Ideally, the owner wants to create a Zaporozhets crossover for travel and has already increased its clearance.
