The project took almost 10 years to complete. The Volga coupe is built on a 1972 Buick Electra frame chassis and is equipped with a 5.7-liter, 280 hp Chevrolet V8 and automatic transmission. The GAZ hot-rod is 21 cm longer and 15 cm wider than the standard Volga.
The design of the lowered coupe is in the American style of the 50s, and it even includes the signature rear fins. The interior is upholstered in leather, and the equipment includes ABS, air conditioning, electric package, and a powerful audio system with a subwoofer.
