Автор: Among retro cars, electric vehicles are rare, but they do occasionally appear. In Sweden, a rare electric car Mars II from 1969 was discovered in an abandoned barn. 
Electric vehicles Mars were created in the USA by the company Electric Fuel Propulsion Corporation. Initially, they converted Renault Dauphine, Mars II was created based on the more modern sedan Renault 10. 
According to various sources, between 42 and 115 Mars II electric cars were produced.
Interestingly, five charging stations were even set up specifically for them between Detroit and Chicago.

The Mars II can accelerate up to 100 km/h, and its lead batteries provided a range from 110 to 190 km. The electric car could be charged in 46 minutes. Regenerative braking was also provided. 
The vintage electric car is in good condition, and even its batteries are in order.
A buyer has already been found for it: it was sold on eBay for $4850.
