by In 2019, a new six-wheeled Mercedes will appear. However, it will not be a G-Class, but a pickup truck, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class. The project is being developed by Carlex Design studio.
The new Mercedes-Benz X-Class Exy 6X6 is not just an extended pickup with an additional axle. Carlex Design plans to significantly alter the appearance of the vehicle. It features widened wheel arches, massive bumpers, and a completely new cargo platform.
Based on the images, the six-wheeled Mercedes will also be equipped with a winch, a hood scoop, and a roof LED bar. As for the specifications, they have not been disclosed yet.
Let us recall, the most powerful Mercedes X-Class 2018 is equipped with a three-liter turbo diesel engine with 258 hp and a 7-speed automatic transmission. The three-axle version may very well be equipped with an even more powerful engine.
