Indians showcased an electric hypercar with James Bond technologies

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the prototype of the Indian electric hypercar Vazirani Shul was presented. It was developed under the guidance of designer Chunky Vazirani, who previously worked for Jaguar, Land Rover, and Rolls-Royce.

The design of the Vazirani Shul is quite unusual. The Indian hypercar is equipped with four electric motors – one per wheel. The battery is small (weighing 300 kg), but there is a motor-generator – a compact gasoline turbine that generates electricity.

A similar technology was used in the Jaguar C-X75 concept, but it never became serial, although it did appear in a James Bond movie. Vazirani Shul is planned to be produced in small batches. The Formula 1 Force India team will help finalize the car.

Details of the Vazirani Shul remain under wraps. It is known only that the Indian electric car will be track-focused and will feature Brembo brakes. It is quite possible that the electric hypercar will not be produced in India, although local automakers already have experience producing sports models.
