Lucid to Present a New Concept at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
Lucid Motors is preparing to present a new electric vehicle concept at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance auto show. While details are still limited, it is known that the model will be based on the Gravity Grand Touring crossover and will feature an off-road design. Teaser images reveal powerful wheel arches, black wheels, and a roof rack with additional lighting.
The presentation will take place on August 14th, with the public debut scheduled for August 17th. The concept is likely to inherit the technical specifications of the base model: a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with 828 horsepower, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and a range of up to 724 km.
Technology and Comfort
The production Gravity Grand Touring is already impressive with its features. These include LED lighting, a power-operated trunk, a 34-inch digital instrument cluster, and a multimedia system with a 12.6-inch screen. The interior is trimmed with eco-friendly PurLuxe leather, equipped with heated seats, wireless charging, and a 10-speaker audio system.
At the Lucid stand, visitors will not only be able to see the new model but also test the Air and Gravity models. The organizers also invite guests to a wellness beverage tasting and to participate in a sensory experience inspired by California landscapes.
This presentation underscores Lucid’s ambitions in expanding its electric vehicle lineup. The off-road concept could be a response to the demand for more versatile electric cars capable of combining high performance with the ability to travel off the asphalt. The success of the Gravity Grand Touring has already proven that the American manufacturer is capable of competing with the leaders in the premium segment.
