New Corvette ZR1X Price Makes Hypercars Look Ridiculously Expensive

New Corvette ZR1X: Prices and Special Edition

Chevrolet has officially unveiled the new Corvette ZR1X, which has become the brand’s first production model with a base price exceeding $200,000. The coupe starts at $207,395, and the convertible starts at $217,395. The additional 3LZ trim package increases the price by $11,000. Furthermore, the company announced a limited series, the Quail Silver Limited Edition, with a unique design.

ZR1X prices may seem high, but Chevrolet compares it to supercars like the Ferrari F80 ($3.7 million) and the McLaren W1 ($2.1 million). In terms of power, acceleration to 60 mph (less than 2 seconds), and top speed (233 mph), the Corvette appears more advantageous than its competitors.

Quail Silver Limited Series

The Quail Silver Limited Edition version is only available for models with the 3LZ package. It features a matte silver paint finish not used on the Corvette since the 1960s, as well as orange brake calipers, black exhaust tips, and carbon-coated mirrors. The interior is trimmed in a combination of gray and orange shades.

A fully optioned ZR1X with the Quail Silver package will cost $241,395 excluding delivery.

Despite the stated prices, dealers may significantly inflate the cost of the car. Those planning to purchase a ZR1X should be prepared for additional expenses.

A comparative table of specifications shows that the Corvette ZR1X offers impressive technical parameters for a significantly lower price than its competitors. However, the exclusivity and prestige of Ferrari and McLaren remain unmatched. Chevrolet is clearly targeting buyers who seek maximum performance without overpaying for the brand.
