One of the Rarest Alfa Romeo Coupes Is Not Actually a Real Alfa

Rare Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato Back on the Market

The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato is one of the most distinctive models of modern times. Its design combines classic Italian lines with handcrafted workmanship from Zagato. Although the car is built on a Dodge Viper chassis, its body is completely unique.

One of these rare specimens has appeared on the market again. Initially, a dealer in the US listed it for $675,000, but after an unsuccessful sales attempt, the car was put up for auction on Bring a Trailer. Last year, a similar example was sold for $632,000, which is significantly higher than previous estimates of $450,000–$550,000.

Technical Features

The body of the TZ3 Stradale Zagato is made of carbon fiber, and its design is inspired by models from the 1960s. The car is painted in a dark blue metallic and has only 1,900 miles on the odometer. Under the hood is an 8.4-liter V10 from the Viper, which produces 640 hp and is paired with a six-speed manual Tremec transmission.

This model is a true rarity that combines Italian style with American power. Its value continues to grow, making it attractive to collectors. The recent sale showed that demand for such cars remains high, despite their niche appeal.
