This Bar of Soap Might Be the Toughest Thing Ford Has Created This Year

Ford and Dr. Squatch Introduce New Soap Inspired by the F-150 Pickup

Ford and Dr. Squatch are continuing their unusual collaboration, this time introducing a soap called F-150 Tough Scrub. It is created in honor of the iconic pickup and has a unique composition: pumice, coconut oil, and natural powder from corn cobs. The fragrance composition includes notes of wood and leather, which is meant to evoke the strength and reliability of the vehicle.

The soap is designed to effectively fight dirt and also has a rough texture for exfoliation. In addition, Dr. Squatch is bringing back a limited series of Bronco Bricc soap for sale, which was previously inspired by the Ford Bronco off-roader. It contains blue agave extract and sand for exfoliation, and its scent combines woody notes.

Promotion and Availability

To promote the new product, the companies are organizing a contest with a chance to win a car. Participation in the draw is limited to US residents aged 18 and over. It is separately stated that no purchase is necessary to participate.

Both types of soap are available for order online or in physical stores. The price starts at $6 for one bar for service subscribers, while a pack of two bars costs $16.

This is not Ford’s first unconventional partnership project. Recently, the brand collaborated with the fashion house alice + olivia, creating a line of automotive-themed clothing. Although some items raised doubts about taste, the collaboration still yielded several interesting design solutions.
