New Electric Cadillac Optiq-V: Power and Style
Cadillac has introduced the new 2026 electric crossover Optiq-V, which impresses with its performance and design. The car is equipped with two electric motors that together produce 519 hp and 880 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. An 85 kWh battery provides a range of up to 275 miles, and support for fast charging allows for recovering 70 miles in 10 minutes.
Cadillac engineers emphasize that the Optiq-V is created for dynamic driving. It has received an adaptive suspension, a torque vectoring system, and special tires. The design is distinguished by an aggressive front end, a black roof, 21-inch wheels, and exclusive colors available only for the V-Series version.
Interior and Technologies
The Optiq-V’s interior combines sporty elements, such as carbon fiber inserts and leather upholstery with blue accents. The centerpiece is a 33-inch display, and available options include a panoramic roof and an AKG audio system with 19 speakers. Among the safety systems are Super Cruise, adaptive cruise control, and automatic parking.
Production of the Optiq-V will begin in the fall of 2026, and the starting price will be $68,795. Its main competitors could be the Tesla Model Y Performance and other premium electric crossovers. Although the range of the V-Series version is somewhat less than that of the standard model, Cadillac is betting on dynamics and driving pleasure.
This crossover demonstrates how Cadillac combines eco-friendly technologies with the brand’s traditional values — power and luxury. It could become an interesting option for those looking for a fast yet comfortable electric car.
