2026 Kia Sportage Receives Updated Design and Increased Price

The presentation of the updated model took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year, and now the manufacturer has announced prices. The base trim will cost $28,690 plus $1,395 for delivery. Despite the $1,300 price increase, buyers will get a significantly improved version. The price of hybrid modifications will be announced later.

The new Sportage will be available at dealers soon. It received a completely redesigned front end with a wide radiator grille and vertical headlights. The rear bumper, taillights, and wheel sizes from 17 to 19 inches have also been updated.

The interior has also changed – it now features an instrument panel with two 12.3-inch screens combined into a single unit. In addition, there is a new two-spoke steering wheel and updated equipment.

The base LX trim includes fabric seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, and a 6-speaker audio system. Driver assistance systems are also standard: adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and lane keeping assist.

The top SX Prestige version for $36,290 offers more luxurious equipment: power seats with SynTex artificial leather, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, panoramic display, sunroof, and a premium Harman Kardon audio system.

For off-road enthusiasts, the X-Line AWD version is offered for $32,990 with unique bumpers, decorative skid plates, and 19-inch wheels. The highest X-Pro Prestige AWD trim for $39,590 received 17-inch matte black wheels with BF Goodrich all-terrain tires.

All variants are equipped with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine producing 187 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available for an additional $1,800, except for the X-Line and X-Pro versions, where it is standard.
