Global Mustang Crash Tour Continues, This Time in India

Problems with out-of-control Mustangs outside the US began to manifest actively after this muscle car became available worldwide. For a long time, it remained the most popular sports car, which is why it often ends up with drivers who do not know how to handle it, especially with the electronic safety systems turned off.

The recent incident likely occurred in [country] and clearly demonstrates how easy it is to crash if you do not control the gas pedal. A video, which was shared again on Reddit, shows the moment the driver sharply accelerates while exiting a dirt road, causing the rear of the car to break into a skid.

Watch the video:

At first, it seems the situation is under control. However, after exiting, the driver appears to have kept the gas pedal pressed for too long, and the Ford began to skid to the left. Failing to manage the control, the driver brakes sharply and drives off onto a grassy slope near the road.

The recording does not show what damage the [car] sustained after the impact – only how the driver is being helped to get out of the slope. If there was only grass or soft earth at the bottom of the ravine, the car might have avoided serious damage. However, it is almost certain that the front bumper and radiator grille will require repair or even replacement.

Like most Mustang crashes, this one could have been prevented. It would have been enough to lift off the gas pedal earlier to avoid an unfortunate incident. We hope the driver learned a lesson from this situation, although intuition suggests that similar mistakes will be repeated more than once.
