Luxury Aston Martin Valkyrie Models by Amalgam

Company Amalgam is releasing a limited series of detailed scale models of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Production includes only 199 coupes and 199 spyders in 1:8 scale. Each model is created over more than 300 hours using genuine Aston Martin paint and leather. For those willing to spend $27,860, individual versions with unique styling are available.

Why the Valkyrie is Special

Aston Martin was not obligated to create the Valkyrie, but its decision to release this hypercar is awe-inspiring. For those who were unable to purchase the real car, Amalgam offers the next best thing — a realistic model with a V12 engine.

This model is not a mass-produced product available in regular stores or a Lego set. Amalgam specializes in high-quality, complex scale replicas that accurately reproduce the originals. The cost of the 1:8 Valkyrie model is significant.

Limited Series and High Price

Amalgam plans to release 199 coupes and 199 spyders. The standard version, known as the Limited Edition, costs from £14,740 or $19,900, while the individual Bespoke Editions for the coupe and spyder cost £20,640 or $27,860 each.

For the same amount, one could purchase, for example, a Ford Maverick or a new base Mazda MX-5, but owning a 22-inch Valkyrie model for a coffee table offers a unique luxury.

Manufacturing Quality

All standard Limited Edition models are painted in Podium Green shade, while Bespoke versions can be executed in the colors of real Valkyries from collections around the world.

To create the 1:8 scale models, Amalgam uses original CAD designs, paint codes, castings, and CNC-processed materials. Each model is 22 inches (56 cm) long and requires over 300 hours for assembly. The development of the model in collaboration with Aston Martin took over 3,000 hours.

For collectors who want something more than the standard model, Amalgam offers full customization.

“We receive every technical detail directly from Aston Martin, including paint and leather samples, to guarantee absolute accuracy,” explained founder Sandy Copeman.

Each order has Aston Martin’s approval, which is important for those investing significant funds in a model car.

These models not only demonstrate manufacturing craftsmanship but also highlight the growing demand for exclusive collectible items in the automotive world. They serve as a bridge between true car enthusiasts and those who aspire to own unique objects, even in miniature. Such projects also show how collaboration between automobile manufacturers and specialized workshops can create products that combine art and technology.
