Ferrari has officially introduced the new star of its model range – the 849 Testarossa. This mid-engined coupe is built on the SF90 chassis but features a completely original style that takes us back to the iconic 1980s. The exterior easily reveals references to the classic Ferrari 208 and 512 – smooth lines, wide proportions, and the signature Italian character.

Under the hood is a 4.0-liter Ferrari F154 V8, seriously upgraded with new cylinder heads, a manifold, and the most powerful turbines in the brand’s history. The engine itself produces 819 hp, and three electric motors in the transmission add another 217 hp, creating a hybrid system with all-wheel drive. On pure electric power, the 849 Testarossa can travel up to 24 km at speeds up to 130 km/h – in this mode, only the front axle operates. And at speeds over 210 km/h, exclusively rear-wheel drive is activated.

The powertrain is paired with an -speed robotic gearbox. The performance is impressive: 0–100 km/h in 2.2 seconds – a hypercar-level figure. The battery capacity is 7.45 kWh, and it can be charged from an external power source.

The interior retains the SF90’s architecture but has become more “clean” and minimalist. The control panel is maximally compact, the driver’s space resembles a Formula 1 cockpit, and the seams on the panels are hidden, creating an impression of integrity and high quality.

Orders for the Ferrari 849 Testarossa will open soon, and customers will be able to choose between a coupe and a roadster with a servo-driven roof. The first deliveries are expected in 2026.
