Larte Design has introduced an extravagant styling package for the Porsche 992.2 Carrera. Among the key elements is a massive rear spoiler with additional winglets mounted on the rear lights. The modified car now resembles a GT version more than the base Carrera.
Development Process and Material Selection
The development involved clay modeling, 3D scanning, prototype creation, and numerous refinements. Owners can choose from 12 new components that fit the car’s standard mounting points. All parts are available in prepreg carbon fiber or with high-gloss paint finish.
Exterior Changes and Design
A new front bumper with a more pronounced splitter and sportier inserts on the air intakes has been added. This is combined with a hood featuring ventilation holes, redesigned side sills, and a completely updated rear diffuser that houses stop lights and dual rectangular exhaust pipes.
The centerpiece is a large fixed rear wing mounted on the engine cover. It visually merges with thin winglets that extend to the LED light bar, creating a design reminiscent of the most iconic spoilers from previous 911 generations.
Wheel Rims and Color Options
The kit also includes cast alloy wheels with five double spokes and integrated aero discs, giving the Carrera an even more aggressive look. Larte also showed visualizations in various colors, including a blue-and-yellow livery inspired by the Holbert Racing 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 from the 1974 Trans-Am series.
Technical Specifications
Despite the dramatic look, no performance or chassis upgrades are offered. The 911 Carrera retains its standard engine – a bi-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder producing 389 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed PDK, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.
Price and Availability
Larte Design does not name a price for the kit, inviting potential clients to inquire for individual proposals. This indicates that the product is aimed at an audience for whom cost is not a primary constraint.
This package could be an interesting choice for those who want to set their Carrera apart from standard models without resorting to serious technical modifications. Although the car’s appearance is radically changed, its dynamic performance remains untouched, which could be both an advantage and a drawback for different buyers.
