In Dnipro, the complete restoration of a rare Mercedes-Benz 320 W142 from 1940 has been completed. The work was carried out at the DCS Restoration workshop, where the project lasted almost four years. The car was returned to its original condition after critical wear and tear. Mercedes-Benz 320 W142 Restoration: 4 Years of Work on the Project

The restoration lasted about four years. During this time, the craftsmen completely overhauled the body, restored the geometry, and brought back the classic design elements. Significant attention was paid to details, including chrome elements, optics, and decorative inserts.

The interior was restored separately. The cabin received new upholstery, preserved in the original style, as well as a restored dashboard with wooden inserts and analog gauges.

Before the work began, the car was essentially in a state of scrap metal. Some of the body elements were lost or severely damaged, requiring complex reconstruction.

After the project’s completion, the car is fully operational and meets the classic standards of the model. The restored Mercedes-Benz 320 W142 can be used for participation in exhibitions and retro car festivals.
