by Acura NSX is a long-awaited novelty. Like other fans of this car, we waited for its appearance – like a nightingale awaits summer. And now, little by little, it is getting closer and closer to us. Back in 2012, Acura presented an NSX prototype in Detroit. However, before that, the project was repeatedly approved and then frozen.
Three years later, Acura showed the production version of the model. And just recently, they revealed the detailed specifications of the new sports car. 
According to the manufacturer, the car received a body composed of a combination of aluminum and sheet molding compound – made using a completely new casting technology, applied for the first time in the automotive industry. For the construction of the front pillars, engineers used a special 3D technology, significantly enhancing safety levels. 
The design of the new two-door was developed by specialists from the Honda center in Raymond, USA.
Among the external features of the NSX are the air intakes on the hood, the low roofline, and the predatory ‘face.’ The dimensions of the novelty are 4470х1215х1940 mm. The wheelbase size is 2630 mm. The car is fitted with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels. With such wheels, of course, you won’t travel much across Ukraine. Long live tire bulges and the Kyiv tow truck service.
But the main ‘feature’ of the NSX is its power plant, consisting of a twin-turbo V6 and three electric motors. The total output of the sports coupe is 573 hp, with a maximum speed set at 307 km/h. 
The engine is paired with a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission. Among other things, the novelty is equipped with the Integrated Dynamic System, which allows choosing one of four driving modes (engine, suspension, and gearbox settings): Quiet, Sport, Sport+, and Track. Assembly of the new product will begin in the spring of next year.
The production of the car will be established at a new Acura facility in Marysville, Ohio. It was previously reported that the novelty would be priced at the level of the Audi R8 (115,900 USD). However, the actual price is still unknown.
