The Italian company Aznom, in collaboration with Camal Studio, has presented the concept of the L’Epoque electric limousine, inspired by chauffeur-driven cars from the 1920s and 1930s. The model impresses with its dimensions and extravagant Art Deco-style design. This is reported by Carscoops.
The sedan’s length is approximately 8 meters (315 inches or 26.3 feet). This is twice as long as a Ford Fiesta, 2.6 meters longer than a standard Cadillac Escalade, and 2.2 meters longer than the extended Escalade ESV version. The car is equipped with massive 30-inch wheels.
The luxury sedan from Italy received an interior in the form of a lounge area
The doors open with a theatrical double motion, lifting part of the roof. The rear part of the cabin is transformed into a full-fledged lounge with a huge sofa, folding armchairs, and a central console. It can accommodate a mini-bar, a cigar humidor, or a device for winding watches. Screens remain hidden until use.
Interior materials are borrowed from Italian furniture manufacturing. Wood, leather, and fabric predominate. The noise insulation system is designed to transform external noise into a barely noticeable background. Artificial intelligence manages the climate, lighting, aromatization, and suspension.
The 8-meter sedan is equipped with four electric motors
The powertrain includes four separate electric motors for each wheel with a combined output of over 986 hp (1000 metric hp). A V6 engine acts as a range extender, powering a 100 kWh battery. The frame chassis is equipped with an adaptive suspension to maintain the car’s level position even on cobblestones.
Aznom states that the L’Epoque could theoretically be built as a single unit thanks to the experience gained during the creation of the luxurious Palladium crossover. For now, the project remains a concept, but the company has a history of bringing unusual ideas to life.
