The couple began their journey on the roads back in the days of carburetor engines, and now they are joining the Porsche owners’ club. Derek Evans commented on the decision as follows:
We always dreamed of a Porsche, and then we thought — why not now? Besides, you feel like part of an amazing club when you have such a car.

The newlyweds’ first car was an Austin 7 with about 7 horsepower, so even the base Macan with 262 horsepower is a significant upgrade for them. It will be another Porsche — a Taycan. A wonderful car. It took me a little while to get out of it — but wow, it’s something!
