Today, Honda’s premium brand presented the new generation of the Acura Integra. To be precise, it is the pre-production version of the revived model. Despite being intended for the US market, the novelty will be available with an ‘old-school’ and ‘true’ manual gearbox.

Like the Acura Integra from 20 years ago, the reincarnation represents a bright youth car with a sporty character. But there is a nuance – it is now a 5-door liftback (not a 2-door coupe). The prototype’s color, by the way, is borrowed from Acura NSX — it’s Indy Yellow Pearl.

Technically speaking, it’s the 11th generation Honda Civic but with some enhancements, a limited-slip differential, and a powerful 203-horsepower engine from the Civic Si. The transmission, as mentioned, can be either a 6-speed manual or an automatic (CVT).

What the interior of the Acura Integra 2022 looks like – the manufacturer has not yet revealed or showcased, explaining that all the details will be revealed and shown in the spring of 2022 when the debut of the serial version of the new generation Integra takes place. But the price is already known – in the US market, the new Acura Integra can be purchased for around $30,000.
