Acura Finally Added to the Integra What It Always Lacked, and It’s Not Power

Updated 2026 Acura Integra: New Colors and Improved Trim

Based on the Honda Civic platform, the Integra combines practicality with premium elements. The model is popular: last year, 24,398 units were sold in the USA, triple the sales of the larger TLX. For comparison, in 2019, the Integra’s predecessor – the ILX model – sold only 14,685 cars.

To maintain this success, the company has introduced an updated version with an improved interior and an expanded list of standard equipment.

Stylistic Changes

The 2026 update is not a full model facelift. Three new colors have been added to the palette: Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, and Double Apex Blue Pearl. For some color options, a body-colored radiator grille is offered.

The A-Spec version has received new 18-inch black wheels and an updated sport body kit with more pronounced sides and a front bumper.

Updated Interior

The main change in the interior is the enlarged 9-inch multimedia system screen with improved performance. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are now included in the base trim.

The new system has a faster processor for smoother operation

A standard wireless smartphone charging device has also appeared. The A-Spec version has added extended ambient lighting and new interior trim options with suede and contrasting stitching.

Technical Features

Standard equipment includes:

The technical specifications remain unchanged: a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 200 hp is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual transmission. The manual transmission features automatic rev-matching on downshifts and a limited-slip differential.

Production of the new model is based in Ohio, USA. Due to the expanded equipment, the price of the model is expected to be higher than previous versions, which started at $33,000. Final prices will be announced closer to the start of sales, which is scheduled for next month.

The Integra update demonstrates how the manufacturer responds to demand by gradually moving features from top trims to the base one. This is especially noticeable in the interior, where more modern technologies have appeared without increasing the starting price. Retaining the manual transmission in 2026 is a bold move for the premium segment, which may attract enthusiasts.
