Alfa Romeo Received an Additional $22,000 for Gold-Plated Elements, and Dubai Agreed to It

Exclusive Special Editions from Alfa Romeo

Unique special editions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio models have appeared on the Middle East market. The production is limited to only five units of each model, distinguished by trim with golden accents. This project was implemented as part of expanding the brand’s Bespoke individual ordering program to the entire model line.

Anniversary Series from a Dealer in the UAE

The official distributor of Alfa Romeo in the United Arab Emirates, Gargash Motors, presented the limited “Bespoke Edizione” series dedicated to the brand’s 115th anniversary, based on the powerful Quadrifoglio versions of the Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV. Although the company celebrated its 115th anniversary back in June of last year, the celebration continues.

This initiative is closely linked to the Alfa Romeo individual ordering program, reminiscent of the new Bottegafuoriserie division. It allows clients to obtain specifications unavailable in the standard catalog.

Design Details of the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV 115

The Giulia QV 115 sedan is executed in black with graphics in the form of the Alfa Romeo coat of arms on the hood. The alloy wheels, brake calipers, splitter, and sills are highlighted in gold paint. Carbon fiber mirrors, calipers, trunk lid, and carbon fiber seatbacks feature emblems commemorating the anniversary.

The interior combines black and orange leather, and the headrests bear the embossed mark “1 of 5,” emphasizing the car’s exclusivity.

Features of the Stelvio QV 115 SUV

The Stelvio QV 115 SUV has a dark gray body shade, individual graphics on the hood, and gold alloy wheels of characteristic design. Its interior is executed in a more restrained palette: leather in black and beige colors, with 115th-anniversary logos adorning the armrests, seatbacks, and door cards.

Technical Specifications Remain Classic

Technically, both special editions are completely identical to the standard Quadrifoglio models, the production of which recently resumed. Under the hood lies the familiar bi-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine with 513 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The Giulia still has rear-wheel drive, while the Stelvio is equipped with all-wheel drive.

Pricing Policy and Availability

The price for each of the ten units is set at 499,900 UAE dirhams, which is approximately $136,100 USD. This is significantly higher than the prices of standard versions: the Giulia Quadrifoglio starts from 419,900 dirhams, and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio from 449,900 dirhams on the Dubai market.

Mass Custom Orders as a Strategy

The presentation of the Bespoke Edizione program in the UAE a few weeks ago also included a demonstration of other custom projects. Among them were the Giulia Quadrifoglio Super Sport with a GTA-style rear wing and carbon fiber elements, as well as special versions of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio and Tonale Veloce.

Expanding the custom ordering program to the entire model line is part of the brand’s strategy, owned by the Stellantis group, to focus on high-margin offerings. The new generation of Stelvio and Giulia models is expected to appear only in 2028, while the current models will remain on the assembly line until 2027.

Similar exclusive projects, limited to the local market, demonstrate how automakers are adapting to global trends. On one hand, it satisfies the demand for uniqueness among the most affluent clients; on the other, it is an effective tool for maintaining interest in models whose life cycle is nearing completion. The success of such initiatives in regions like the Middle East, where status and personalized cars are valued, could serve as a test for further expansion of similar programs to other markets.
