The Hennessey atelier has long been known not only for Venom hypercars but also for its super powerful pickups. Now the Americans are preparing a new project – the Hennessey Maximus 1000.
The car is based on the new Jeep Gladiator, and the number 1000 indicates its power. The Jeep pickup is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with new injectors, a control unit, exhaust, and radiator.
This is the most powerful pickup in the world.
The peak torque reaches 1265 N∙m and the 8-speed automatic transmission had to be reinforced to handle it. In addition, the tuning Jeep Gladiator features increased clearance up to 435 mm and 20-inch wheels with off-road tires. Steel bumpers and additional LED optics have appeared. The interior is trimmed with expensive leather.
Only 24 Hennessey Maximus 1000 will be produced.
The pickup will be available for purchase from July at a price of $200,000.
