The American company Rivian prepared its debut model for the Los Angeles auto show – the electric pickup R1T. The electric vehicle will be available for purchase from 2020 at a price starting from 61,500 dollars.
Considering the specifications of the Rivian R1T, the price is very reasonable. In the base version, two electric motors deliver a total of 408 hp and 560 Nm, but there is also an option with four motors with a total power of 764 hp and 1120 Nm.
In the first case, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds, and in the second – just 3 seconds.
The initial version features a battery with a capacity of 105 kWh, and the range is 370 km. Options with 135 kWh (480 km) and 180 kWh (640 km) are also available.

The Rivian R1T electric pickup features a unibody design and reaches almost 5.5 m in length, with a payload capacity of 800 kg. In addition to the cargo platform, there are two more trunks: a 330-liter front one and a 200-liter rear one. It can also tow a 5-ton trailer.
The car has a rather restrained design with LED front and rear optics spanning the entire body width. Inside, the large instrument and multimedia displays catch the eye.
