by American extreme sportsman Joe Sylvester regained his title as the world champion in long-distance jumps on a bigfoot, lost last year. The experienced pilot, driving the monstrous monster truck proudly named Bad Habit, managed to leap 72 meters and 42 centimeters, thus improving the previous record by almost 7 meters!
“I can’t imagine anything more risky than this. If something goes wrong at such speed and height, the consequences could be devastating,” Sylvester stated. Representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records are currently reviewing the jump for possible inclusion in their list of global achievements. The Bad Habit Monster Truck’s “bigfoot” is based on a custom-built tubular frame, atop which sits the body of a 2006 Cadillac Escalade SUV.
The truck is equipped with an 8.8-liter Chevrolet engine. The engine’s output exceeds 1400 horsepower. The vehicle weighs 4.6 tons.
