People’s Artist of Ukraine, widely known for his Verka Serduchka character, bought a rare Rolls-Royce, previously owned by Freddie Mercury. But a correction must be made – as TopGir has already written, Danylko bought the Rolls back in 2013.

In particular, it concerns the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow of the Queen band’s lead singer, which was bought by the Ukrainian artist at an auction. But so far, Danylko hasn’t even sat behind the wheel of the ‘star’ car.
“It’s been standing in a parking lot in London, now going on the 10th year. And every year I get angry because I pay for parking. There’s some kind of issue with bringing it here. However, there is hope that we will manage it,” Andriy Danylko said on the air of the channel ‘Ukraine’.

The artist hopes that the car will eventually be brought to Ukraine, and he will be able to show it to everyone willing.
“We want to exhibit Freddie Mercury’s Rolls-Royce as the first exhibit in the ‘Ukraine’ hall, which will start a large star exhibition of Ukrainian pop music. I still hope that we will manage it and everyone will see it. There are his napkins and perfume in the glove compartment, which I will take for myself,” Andriy Danylko said.

It should be noted that Mercury’s Rolls-Royce was purchased by Goose Productions Ltd, a company owned by Mercury, in September 1979. The Queen vocalist used the car until 1991, as confirmed by the former manager of the music group Jim Beach. After Mercury’s death, the car was passed on to his sister. The last time the car was used was for the presentation of the song We Will Rock You and has driven only a few kilometers since then.
