The 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is up for auction at RM Sotheby’s in London. The car belonged to Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.

TopGir once wrote about this car. Its owner is Andrii Danylko – he admitted it himself. The singer revealed that he decided to buy Freddie Mercury’s Rolls-Royce almost 10 years ago, but he could not bring it to Ukraine. The car was parked in London, and Danylko also had to pay for it.

RM Sotheby’s does not directly name the seller of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, but they indicate that he has owned the car since 2013. Additionally, it is noted that the proceeds from the car will be donated to the Ukrainian rehabilitation and prosthetics clinic Superhumans Center.

Recall that Freddie Mercury bought the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow in 1979 and owned it until his death in 1991. He used the car with his chauffeur and even drove opera diva Montserrat Caballé in it. The car was inherited by the singer’s sister Kashmira.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is equipped with a 6.75-liter V8 engine producing 190 hp and a 3-speed automatic transmission. Its interior is furnished with leather and wood, and it features air conditioning, a telephone, and cruise control.
