Apollo EVO Premiere
German supercar manufacturer Apollo has introduced the new EVO model, which will succeed the Intensa Emozione. This car is designed exclusively for race tracks, and its production is limited to just ten units. The first deliveries are planned for early 2026, coinciding with the brand’s 20th anniversary.
Technical Specifications
The development of the EVO took a bit longer than expected, but this allowed it to be presented as part of the anniversary celebration. The new model, limited to ten examples, is an evolution of the 2017 Intensa Emozione concept.
Brand Philosophy
Apollo is the only German manufacturer specializing in hypercars, and the EVO embodies their philosophy of “rebellious German engineering.” The brand originates from the Gumpert Apollo, which set a record on the Nürburgring for production cars in 2009. Under new leadership, Apollo aims to continue this legacy with the EVO.
Engine and Dynamics
The heart of the car is a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 800 horsepower (597 kW) and 765 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox. The total weight of the car is only 1300 kg, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. The top speed reaches 335 km/h. The EVO is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, forged aluminum wheels, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
Construction and Materials
The basis of the car is a carbon fiber monocoque weighing only 165 kg. Despite being lighter than the V12 engine, this structure is 15% stiffer than that of the Intensa Emozione. The front and rear suspensions are also made of carbon fiber. However, the most impressive part remains the design.
Exterior and Interior
The EVO’s design combines motifs of a spaceship and a dragon, creating a stunning appearance. Aerodynamic elements protrude from the rear, complemented by LED lighting that harmoniously blends with the titanium exhaust system, manufactured using 3D printing technology. The interior will also feature parts made using this technology, although the full interior appearance has not yet been revealed. Production is limited to ten cars, and it is unknown if all are already reserved.
This model not only demonstrates Apollo’s technological progress but also highlights their ability to combine innovation with emotional design. The limited series makes the EVO an object of desire for collectors and enthusiasts seeking unique track cars. Given the brand’s history and technical achievements, the EVO could become a significant milestone in the automotive industry, bridging the past with the future.
