The new Aston Martin DBX was unveiled ahead of its premiere at the Guangzhou Auto Show. This is the first Aston Martin crossover that will challenge the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus.
The Aston Martin DBX can be purchased at a price starting from 193,500 euros. Sales of the model will start in 2020.
Design of the Aston Martin DBX 2020
The Aston Martin DBX 2020 is designed in the traditional style of the brand – with a wide grille and almond-shaped diode headlights.
The door handles are hidden in the body, and the rear part is pointed, like the Aston Martin Vantage.
The car is quite large – about 5 meters long and weighing 2245 kg. Interestingly, even the base version comes with 22-inch wheels.
Interior and Equipment of the Aston Martin DBX 2020
The Vantage influence is also felt in the interior. The trim features leather, wood, and Alcantara.
The Aston Martin crossover has a virtual dashboard and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The automatic transmission modes are switched with buttons.
The second row offers ample leg and headroom, one of the largest in its class. Additionally, the crossover boasts a sizeable 632-liter trunk. The base package of the Aston Martin DBX includes a set of power features, three-zone climate control, an 800-watt audio system, and a panoramic roof.
Specifications of the Aston Martin DBX 2020
The Aston Martin crossover is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from Mercedes-AMG. The engine produces 550 hp and has 700 Nm of torque. With a 9-speed automatic transmission, the acceleration to a hundred takes 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is 290 km/h.
The car features all-wheel drive with an active center differential, hill descent assistance, and 6 driving modes. Additionally, the DBX comes with active stabilizers and air suspension.
