Bugatti Presents Unique Mistral Roadster
Bugatti has unveiled a new example of its Mistral roadster, featuring exclusive styling. The car, the last in the line with the legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine, received a special purple paint job and details made from tinted carbon fiber.
The car’s rear wing draws particular attention. Its lower section is adorned with a white background featuring detailed purple floral motifs and the name “Caroline” – the name of the owner’s daughter, who owns this supercar.
Inspiration and Individuality
The car’s client wanted his roadster to be elegant and inspired by the imagery of lavender fields in the French region of Provence. Despite the Mistral being one of the most powerful cars in a world where more and more exotics are getting electric powertrains, the owner chose the path of elegance.
The finished car, known as the W16 Mistral ‘Caroline’, embodies this idea. The exterior is finished in an individual shade of lavender, which contrasts with elements of exposed carbon fiber on the bumpers and sills. It is important to note that this is not ordinary carbon fiber, but carbon fiber with a purple tint. A set of brake calipers in a matching purple color was also added.
This car has incredible beauty and individuality – it reflects Bugatti’s heritage in craftsmanship and innovation, as well as the unique story and refined taste of its owner.
Exclusive Interior
The car’s interior also received a fully individual finish. Surfaces are upholstered in leather in Blanc and Minuit shades with deep purple tones, and the same purple carbon fiber used on the exterior is also applied. Embroidered floral motifs have been added to the seat cushions, door panels, and transmission tunnel.
As in other Mistral models, the gearshift lever incorporates Bugatti’s ‘Dancing Elephant’ figurine, encased in glass.
This project once again emphasizes that owners of such unique cars often seek not just to preserve an investment, but to create something personal and expressive. Even the last car with the iconic W16 engine becomes a canvas for art and individuality, demonstrating that luxury can be not only technical but also emotional. Similar projects expand the perception of the automobile as an object of art, where every detail tells the story of its owner and their taste.
