Barugzai stripped this Range Rover of its badge and any elegance

The New Face of the Range Rover Sport

The British company Barugzai has introduced a dramatic Raptor tuning kit for the third-generation Range Rover Sport. This kit includes:

The Range Rover Sport has always been popular among tuners as an alternative to the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5/X6, but Barugzai gives it a more aggressive look.

Origin of the Name and Founder

The name Raptor is reminiscent of a predatory dinosaur, not the Ford lineup. The company’s founder, Naveed Barugzai Khan, is not related to the famous tuner Afzal Kahn but also specializes in modifying Range Rovers.

Design Details

The front end received a new hood with ventilation holes, a three-section radiator grille, and a bumper with additional LEDs and a splitter. The sides are distinguished by extended fenders, deep side sills with black accents, and “E11EVEN” alloy wheels.

Rear End and Overall Look

The rear features a large roof spoiler and an additional spoiler above the taillights, as well as a sporty diffuser with four exhaust pipes. Overall, the Raptor looks more radical than the production versions, although some details may seem outdated.

Technical Features

The tuning is limited to the exterior—the interior and technical components remain unchanged. The engines range from a 3.0-liter diesel with 247 hp to a 4.4-liter gasoline V8 in the SV version with 626 hp.

Price and Availability

The price of the Raptor kit has not yet been announced, but previous generations cost around £5,995, with wheels at £1,995. A detailed overview is presented in a video from the company’s founder.

This tuning highlights the trend of personalizing premium SUVs, where owners try to stand out among mass-produced models. Barugzai offers a solution for those seeking exclusivity without changes to the technical part, which can be key to preserving the car’s warranty and reliability.
