Bentley creates a special version of the SUV together with a blogger
It seems that even the most conservative automakers are starting to collaborate with influencers. Bentley has teamed up with a well-known social media personality to introduce a new limited edition of its luxury SUV. The model, created by the Mulliner division, is based on the Bentayga EWB and is called the Chalet Edition.
This special version, described as the “perfect alpine companion,” was developed together with Gstaad Guy. Bentley refers to him as a “well-known media personality.” Although most people may not know who he is, he has 1.7 million followers on Instagram and another 1.3 million on TikTok. According to brand representatives, this influencer has “one of the highest concentrations of ultra-wealthy people among his audience.”
Exclusive design and finishes
The SUV features a unique Light Tudor Grey paint job, the application of which takes over 60 hours. Other highlights include a Fireglow accent color on the lower body, special Chalet Edition badges, and animated illumination upon opening the doors.
The interior is designed for four passengers and is upholstered in two-tone brown leather. The seat backs feature diamond quilting, and decorative elements are complemented by Fireglow-colored inserts. The Liquid Amber wood veneer on the dashboard with open pores features an engraved image of a mountain chalet.
The designers also added tweed accents in the door pockets and center console. Special sill plates, brown speaker grilles, and a rear center console complete the look. The headrests and rear seat cushions are embroidered with an alpine flower motif.
Technical specifications
Bentley did not go into detail about the technical aspects, but the standard Bentayga EWB is equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters. It delivers 542 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the SUV accelerates to 96 km/h in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 290 km/h.
This collaboration demonstrates how even the most luxurious brands are trying to attract new audiences through social media. While such a partnership may seem unusual to many classic car enthusiasts, it reflects modern marketing trends. Creating unique versions like the Chalet Edition allows Bentley not only to capture the attention of a younger audience but also to offer its customers a truly exclusive product inspired by a specific lifestyle and location.
