The Bentley Continental GT lineup has been joined by the most audacious modification in its entire history – the Supersports. The coupe was not simply lightened but literally “cleaned out” of all unnecessary elements, shedding a full 500 kg and transforming it into a track weapon dressed in a luxury grand tourer’s suit.
This release marks the 100th anniversary of the first Supersports – a tradition dating back to 1925. The production run is limited to just 500 units, and the first customers will receive their cars in the fourth quarter of 2026. This was reported by Bentley’s official website.
The main intrigue is the number 666. That is exactly how many horsepower the 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo produces after the “exorcism” of the electric motor. The hybrid component was completely removed – and together with the carbon roof and the absence of rear seats, this allowed the car to lose almost half a ton. As a result, the weight dropped below 2000 kg, and the Continental GT Supersports became the lightest modern Bentley.
The hellish 666 hp and 800 Nm, in company with an 8-speed dual-clutch robotized transmission, accelerate the coupe to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The top speed is 310 km/h. And the titanium Akrapovič exhaust does everything to ensure the neighbors understand exactly that this is not just a Bentley – it’s the one with the “beast’s number”.
Moreover, this is the only rear-wheel-drive Continental GT. A limited-slip differential, active stabilizers, and huge carbon-ceramic discs (440 mm front and 410 mm rear) make it closer to a supercar than to classic grand tourers.
Externally, the Supersports looks according to its temperament: aggressive bumpers, widened fenders, a full aerodynamic body kit, a sharp spoiler, and a massive diffuser. There is more carbon everywhere – from body parts to decorative elements. The final touch is the 22-inch forged wheels and sports seats in the interior.
The Bentley Continental GT Supersports is when British restraint takes a short vacation, and in its place comes “666 reasons” to press the Start button.
