The British manufacturer of luxury cars, Bentley, has decided to take care not only of its clients but also of their four-legged pets. The company has presented a new series of Pet Accessory Range, developed specifically for the Bentayga SUV model.
The idea looks logical: according to Bentley’s statistics, almost a third of their car owners regularly travel with animals. And if previously it was mostly about trips to the vet, now it’s a real comfort class for dogs, which does not concede in attention to detail to the car’s interior itself.
The list of new items includes partitions and organizers for the trunk, which allow separating a space for the dog without disturbing the order among groceries or sports equipment. The custom-made, waterproof Quilted Load Space Liner transforms the trunk into a convenient and soft place for the pet, and the built-in bumper protection saves the body from scratches by paws. For those dogs who prefer to sit in the back row, special seat covers, seat extenders, and door panel trims are provided. And for walks in rainy weather — all-weather mats that withstand dirt and do not spoil the aesthetics of the interior.
The new accessories for animals organically complement the broader Vehicle Protection Range program. For example, roof rails allow freeing up space inside the cabin for transporting dogs, and the Drive Vision system with cameras simplifies trip monitoring and adds confidence in safety.
The Pet Accessory Range fits into Bentley’s philosophy of creating not just cars, but a whole ecosystem of life in its own style. Alongside the directions of Bentley Home, Bentley Residences, and Bentley Experiences, the new line emphasizes that the brand cares about the comfort of every family member — even the one with a tail.
Given the growing expenses in the pet industry, which in the US already exceeds hundreds of billions of dollars per year, Bentley’s decision looks quite in the spirit of the times.
