Bentley revives a century-old car model, but with significant changes

Bentley Blower Jnr – a miniature replica of a legend

The legendary Bentley Blower is making a comeback—but in a miniature version. This is not the powerful 4.5-liter supercharged supercar but a modern electric tribute to history. While Bentley is promoting this model, it will be produced by Hedley Studios—specialists in creating compact replicas of classic cars.

Technical features

The Blower Jnr features a 48-volt electric system, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 72 km/h (in Europe) or 40 km/h (in the US). The range is approximately 105 km. Despite its compact size, the car is a fully functional road vehicle. The manufacturer has retained many original design elements, including the steel frame, leaf springs, and aluminum hood.

Hedley Studios already has experience in creating miniature versions of classics, such as the Bugatti Type 35 and Ferrari Testa Rossa J.

The price of the new model is approximately £90,000 ($121,000), making it accessible only to collectors. Despite the high cost, the company plans to sell all 349 planned units. The first deliveries will begin this year, with each customer able to customize their car individually.

Interestingly, the Blower Jnr was unveiled on the island of Jersey, where the speed limit is just 40 mph—an ideal place to test-drive such a car. While the electric motor may not impress with power, the main value of this model lies in its faithful historical design and the opportunity to become part of Bentley’s automotive heritage.
