Premiere of New Hyundai Models at the Los Angeles Auto Show
At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai introduced two new models for the American market: the Ioniq 6 N electric sedan and the limited edition Elantra N TCR Edition. Both novelties demonstrate the brand’s focus on high performance, combining innovations in electric vehicles with an exciting aesthetic for car enthusiasts.
Ioniq 6 N Specifications
The Ioniq 6 N is equipped with a powerful 84 kWh battery and all-wheel drive, providing a total power of 601 hp. In enhanced performance mode, this figure increases to 641 hp. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes only 3.2 seconds, and the top speed is 160 mph.
The model supports 350 kW fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes. Key technologies include adaptive suspension, the N Drift Optimizer system, and the N Active Sound+ engine roar generator.
Hyundai declined to reveal the car’s range, but noted the model has a 350 kW DC fast charging capability.
Ioniq 6 N Design and Interior
Externally, the car stands out with black and red accents, 20-inch forged wheels, and sporty bumpers. The interior features black upholstery with blue details, sport seats with Alcantara, and additional physical buttons for convenient control. The manufacturer plans to release the Ioniq 6 N in a limited series in 2026, but the price has not yet been announced.
Elantra N TCR Edition Features
The Elantra N TCR Edition is aimed at fans of sporty style. The model received a massive carbon fiber spoiler, 19-inch forged wheels, and a powerful braking system. The interior features a leather steering wheel with Alcantara, blue seat belts, and illuminated sill plates.

Technical Data and Availability
The Elantra N TCR Edition is expected to have a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 276 hp and 389 N·m of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automated manual. The car will go on sale in early 2026 as a limited edition. Its price is expected to be higher than the standard version, which starts at $35,100.
These new models highlight the versatility of Hyundai’s strategy: on one hand, the brand is developing electric vehicles with impressive dynamics, and on the other, it offers affordable sport versions with a bright exterior. Both models can find their fans among those who value speed, individuality, and technology, regardless of the type of powertrain.
