BMW M2 to Receive Special Race Track Package

BMW Prepares Special Track Version of the M2

BMW M has announced a new upgrade package for the 2026 M2 model, named Track Day. It promises improved performance through a series of modifications. Among the expected changes are a front splitter with aerodynamic elements and a massive rear wing.

Although details are not yet fully disclosed, BMW stated:

“Track days will get a serious upgrade”

. Teaser images show alloy wheels in two colors with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tires, indicating a focus on racing performance.

Technical Expectations

The Track Day package is expected to include not only external changes but also an updated suspension and a more powerful braking system with composite brakes from BMW M. The engine will likely remain the same – a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo producing up to 473 hp.

Full information about the novelty is expected next year. The current M2 version with an automatic transmission accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, but the track version may show even better results. This package will be another step for BMW in the sports car segment, where competition with other German brands has always been particularly fierce.
