BMW introduced the conceptual RR motorcycle
BMW Motorrad presented the new RR concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este exhibition. This motorcycle will serve as the foundation for the future production RR model and features an aerodynamic design, as well as the use of lightweight materials such as carbon fiber and aluminum.
The concept’s design is performance-oriented: streamlined shapes, absence of unnecessary elements, and integrated winglets. The exposed carbon fiber parts and aluminum components, which make the motorcycle lighter, particularly stand out. Other notable features include a large BMW logo on the air intake, extended fairings, powerful headlights, and a compact windscreen.
Technical specifications and additional accessories
The concept is equipped with a water-cooled four-cylinder engine used in the Superbike World Championship. Its power exceeds 227 hp, and the electronic control systems are borrowed from the racing version of the M 1000 RR. The package also includes Brembo brakes, Domino grips, and a digital instrument panel.
In addition to the motorcycle, BMW introduced a limited series of Concept RR LTD jackets, produced in collaboration with Meindl. The manufacturer used Nappa leather and a branded embroidered patch. Only 50 such jackets will be released, but their price has not yet been disclosed.
This concept demonstrates how BMW plans to combine racing technologies with road models. The use of competition-grade materials reflects the company’s pursuit of maximum efficiency, while the limited-edition accessories highlight the project’s exclusivity.
