BMW Motorrad Presents the Radical Titan Concept Bike
BMW Motorrad has unveiled the insane Titan concept motorcycle, based on the new R 1300 R model. This bike received a more powerful engine with a nitrous oxide injection system, an extended swingarm, an Akrapovic exhaust system, and carbon panels.
Compared to the standard R 1300 R version, the Titan concept looks much more aggressive. It is equipped with a 143-horsepower boxer engine, which is complemented by a nitrous oxide system (NOS). The design is inspired by custom bikes – a low riding position, exposed mechanical elements, and a titanium exhaust system that wraps around the rear wheel.
This is just a concept, so there is no room for boring practical or legal limitations here
Extreme Design and Technology
Carbon panels flow around the fuel tank and form a minimalist seat. A rear wing or passenger seat is absent – the engineers focused on speed and drive. The extended swingarm helps control the power during launch.
Although the Titan is unlikely to go into series production in this form, BMW often implements elements from its concepts into mass models. This bike demonstrates how far Motorrad is willing to experiment, unlike the conservative automotive division of BMW. Who knows, maybe someday we will see sports cars from BMW with similar tuning solutions.
The Titan concept is a bold step into the world of custom motorcycles, combining street style with high technology. Even if this particular bike doesn’t become serial, its design and technical solutions may find their place in future BMW Motorrad models.
