The new BMW X7 2019 has finally been fully unveiled in official photos. The largest BMW crossover will be officially presented at the end of November at the Los Angeles auto show, and its sales will begin in March. The BMW X7 can be purchased at a price starting from $74,000.
BMW X7 2019 Design
The BMW X7 crossover measures 5151 mm in length, 2000 mm in width, and 1805 mm in height with a wheelbase of 3105 mm. Like the smaller BMW X5 2019, it is built on the modular CLAR platform.
In terms of design, the car almost completely repeats the pre-production concept BMW X7 iPerformance. It has an unusually large BMW kidney grille and narrow LED headlights. Also noticeable are the small angles of the roof pillars.
Interior and Equipment of BMW X7 2019
The interior combines leather, wood, and aluminum. The virtual instrument panel and 12.3-inch touchscreen are noteworthy. Interestingly, the multimedia system is supplemented by a “personal assistant” — artificial intelligence capable of maintaining a small conversation.
The BMW crossover is offered in 6- and 7-seat configurations, meaning that instead of a second-row bench, you can choose two seats with power adjustment and heating. With three rows of seats, there is a 326-liter trunk, which increases to 1376 liters in the five-seat configuration, and to 2560 liters in the two-seat configuration. The tailgate has a power drive.
The standard equipment of the BMW X7 includes a keyless entry system (with smartphone control), four-zone climate control, a panoramic roof, an audio system with 10 speakers, and adaptive cruise control. Also required are automatic braking, traffic sign recognition, lane control, and blind-spot monitoring systems.
The top BMW X7 xDrive 50i also includes a parking autopilot and a semi-autonomous driving system. As an option, the world’s first five-zone climate control is offered.
BMW X7 2019 Specifications
Options include gasoline turbo engines with a volume of 3.0 liters (340 hp) and 4.4 liters (462 hp), as well as three-liter turbo diesels with power output of 265 and 400 hp. The most powerful BMW X7 accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds.
An 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and air suspension are mandatory. Optional features include rear-wheel steering and active stabilizers.
